What PreRise collects, why, and the choices you have
PreRise (prerise.app) is operated by Selenra LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use PreRise and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google; we do not get your Google password.
- Preferences and activity: the categories you follow, keywords you watch, and your email settings.
- Billing: your plan and payment status. Stripe processes payments and holds your card details; we only receive a customer reference, the plan and the payment result.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, kept for security and debugging.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Why we use it
- to run your account and send the daily email and window alerts you asked for;
- to process payments and manage your subscription;
- to keep the service secure and fix problems;
- to send important notices about your account or these policies.

These providers process data on our behalf and only for these purposes. Some of them are located in the United States, so your data may be processed there.
Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of essential cookies: one keeps you signed in, others remember basic settings such as your theme. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in from working.
How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account is open. When you delete your account from Settings, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep for tax and accounting. Request logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
Your rights
You can view and update your details in Settings, change which emails you get, unsubscribe from any email with one click, and delete your account at any time. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
PreRise is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy we will email account holders before they take effect.
